Beyond Waste Workshop - 2009

The Washington State Department of Ecology Solid Waste and Financial Assistance Program, in cooperation with Washington State University’s Center for Sustaining Agriculture & Natural Resources, presented a workshop entitled: "Beyond Waste: Beneficial Recovery of fuels and resources from organic materials" on June 23, 2009 in Lacey, Washington. Beyond Waste is the Department of Ecology’s goal to "eliminate wastes and toxics whenever we can and use the remaining wastes as resources".
